Emilio Tini
Emilio grows up with a passion for 60s/70s cinema (Antonioni, Ferreri, Godard, Pasolini, Bellocchio, Cassavetes) and a real love for the work of realism artists, from Donghi to Casorati, alongside studies in sociology and psychology.
After high school he discovers photography thanks to Avedon, Irvin Penn and Bresson. In 2000, after his degree in art direction, he starts his career as a photographer’s assistant in Milan. He begins in 2004 at Condé Nast Italia, working on the covers and other main projects for the group’s different publications, from Vogue Italia to Vogue Gioiello, Glamour, Vanity Fair and, in particular, for GQ. Alongside the editorial work, Emilio starts to shoot commercials for high-end brands, producing beautiful imagery for Borsalino, Dolce&Gabbana, Brunello Cucinelli, Bulgari, Tod’s, and Giorgio Armani – just to mention a few.
During those years he starts being recognized worldwide for the high technical quality of his work, as well as his strong, sensual and timeless aesthetics and a dynamic approach to the image.
